FREQENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What happens at the first appointment?
After an appointment has been requested, intake paperwork will be sent for the patient to fill out before the appointment via a link to a secure patient portal. A choice of email and or text confirmation will be sent 72 hours before your appointment. At the first appointment, we will go over information to verify accuracy, review questionnaires and paperwork, and go over the confidentiality statement. The patient will have an opportunity to ask questions and get to know each other a little, as well as try to establish treatment goals.
How will I benefit from therapy?
Everyone needs an unbiased person to talk and vent to, whether it's about work, family, school, or relationship stress. The benefit of therapy comes from having a professional to talk to and offer alternative points of view or coping skills that the patient may not have considered.

What is your cancellation policy?
There is a form that you will receive with my cancellation policy. I am very flexible and I understand that life happens, but if it becomes a habit then we'll have a discussion.
